About Us - The Wigsisters Story
Wigsisters
At Wigsisters, we specialise in thoughtfully designed wigs and headwear for women experiencing medical-related hair loss. Whether you're undergoing chemotherapy, living with alopecia, or facing hair loss for any reason, our mission is to help you feel confident, beautiful, and supported every step of the way.
Wigsisters was founded from personal experience. When Gill, our founder, faced her own breast cancer journey, she quickly realised the lack of accessible, high-quality options available for women during such a vulnerable time. That insight became the foundation of Wigsisters — a space offering not only comfort and style, but genuine compassion and care.
We believe that quality, comfort, and affordability should never be compromised, especially when it comes to something as personal as hair loss. Every wig, scarf, and cap in our collection is chosen with love, empathy, and a deep understanding of what truly matters during these times.
You’re warmly invited to visit us in-store to experience our collection first-hand — or browse our full range online, from wherever you are. At Wigsisters, you are never alone.

Gill's Story
In January 2013, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. What followed was a long and challenging journey through treatment, but eventually, I found my feet again — and returned to work in a rustic old house that my dad and I had lovingly restored during my recovery.
During that time, I became increasingly aware of how many women were facing the same struggle I had: finding headwear that was both comfortable and affordable. The options available were often overpriced and impersonal — taking advantage of women during one of the most vulnerable times in their lives.
That’s when my small hair salon evolved into something more meaningful — a space where I could offer beautiful wigs and headwear to women who needed them most.
Today, I feel truly blessed to help women find wigs that restore confidence, and stylish scarves and caps that bring comfort and joy. Every woman deserves to feel like herself — radiant, strong, and supported — even in the face of hair loss.
